Becki Newton

  

American actress Rebecca Sara Newton is well-known for her performances in Ugly Betty's Amanda Tanen and How I Have Met Your Mother's Quinn Garvey.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Newton was born in New Haven (Connecticut) as the daughter of Thomas Newton (nee Chase) and Jennifer Newton (nee Chase) who were composers and arranger Bruce Chase's as well as Fannie Paschell Chase's daughters. Newton is one of the first cousins of actress Sienna Miller. [citation needed]



 



 Newton, who graduated from Harvard, moved to New York City where he landed roles in TV commercials for Olive Garden and other companies. Newton was also featured in an PSA on the dangers that come with drinking, for Human Relations Media called "Keg Party".
